Is he a dog or his he a floppy fish? Colbert is a goofy, silly, excitable and playful boy. He is still learning the world around him and can be a little insecure at times. He is a smart boy and lets you know he is feeling insecure by jumping or doing the “floppy fish”- flopping to the ground, wiggling his body and wagging his tail for reassurance. But who can resist a lovable floppy guy? And a lovable one he is! He will gladly accept belly rubs, body scritches and affection in all other forms. Being that he is a young boy still, he will need some help learning to settle and keeping his paws on ground. He would benefit from a calm and patient home with people who can teach him manners kindly. You won’t find a more loving dog than him! Colbert is a young 1 year old, 58 pound bundle of joy, who has been at APS since January 2nd. He can’t wait to meet you and find his forever home.
