Wagsworth checks all the boxes. He’s loves toys, napping in the sun, and running around and playing with his housemate, Newt. He is smiley and silly and Wags is looking for a family to cherish him in all his glory. Wagsworth is energetic but loves cuddles and pets, wanting nothing more than to be your best friend. He is a great leash walker, but can get quite excited when seeing his smaller friends, the squirrels, and sleeps well in his crate overnight. Wags will be the perfect addition to any home. He’s currently seeking someone to help him learn boundaries and that not everyone needs hugs and kisses when they enter the house. Wagsworth is 60 pounds and 2 years young, and has been in and out of our program for about a year now. We first met Wags last October. He was adopted in March and recently returned back to us in September, though no fault of his own. For this big hunk of love, we would recommend slow intros with gentle dogs, and he might not be fit for a home that has cats as his love interest for them is a little bit much.
