Two women, and their 2 dogs, from Hawaii were lost at sea 5 months ago after bad weather damaged their sailboats engine. The pair were headed to Tahiti and decided to keep sailing hoping to make their destination, but went off course and were discovered by the Navy about 900 miles southeast of Japan. The pair survived on dry goods and used a water purifier for drinking water.
