Sanford native Britton Buchanan came just shy of victory Monday night on “The Voice,” coming in second place to Brynn Cartelli.

Buchanan on Monday night performed an original song that he said he wrote while in chemistry class at Lee County High School. That song, “Where You Come From,” made it to the No. 1 spot on the iTunes chart Monday and remained in first place Tuesday afternoon.

Buchanan also needed the second song he performed Monday night to get into the top 10 on iTunes, and achieved that goal just before noon. Read more via wral.com.
