OMG! Clayton Woman Finds Black Widow in Grapes

OMG! Clayton Woman Finds Black Widow in Grapes

NOPE! NO!

Patti Kanter of Clayton said her daughter found a black widow in her grapes right before eating one!

Her daughter asked, “Mom, what’s all this hairy stuff on the grapes?”

“She saw the hourglass on the belly, and she said, ‘It’s a black widow spider, Mom.’

Kanter notified the BJ’s store manager of what happened, she said they apologized.

“The quality of our produce is a top priority for us. We continually work with our suppliers to ensure that that our products meet our high standards. Given the natural environment in which produce is grown, it is possible for issues like this to happen. We are working directly with this member about her concerns,” a spokesperson for BJ’s said in a statement. Read more via wral.com.
