WATCH: Islands of Fire Ants float through Flood Waters

As if the flooding wasn’t bad enough….

Flood waters pose a number of risks, and displaced wildlife is one of them.

Fire Ants are known to use a floating technique to escape flooding – they can create ‘islands’ in less than two minutes and hold together for several days.
