- Capital City BikeFest – 14 years and going … with a street fair, motorcycle meet-ups, custom bike competition, and vintage car show … all this weekend at Raleigh Convention Center.
Saturday, September 22
- City of Oaks Pirate Fest – Pirate-themed activities and a costume contest at NC Museum of History Saturday.
- Groove in the Garden – Saturday Afternoon at Raleigh Little Theatre’s Stephenson Amphitheater.
- Hops for Hope – with 25 one of a kind beers from local breweries to raise money for Children’s Flight of Hope at Raleigh Beer Garden. Tickets are $25 for unlimited tasting.
- Dragon Boat Festival – featuring nearly 100 exhibits and activities Saturday at Booth Amphitheatre.
- Oktoberfest – 8 years and going at Bull City Burger and Brewery Saturday. Family Friendly!
- Taste of the State Fair – The fair is coming! Food truck vendors will be serving up crowd favorites such as deep fried Oreos, chicken and waffle tacos and Krispy Kreme burgers.
Sunday, September 23
- Trucks for the Park – Pie Pushers Pizza and Only Burger team up at Durham Central Park with more than 15 trucks Sunday.
- La Fiesta del Pueblo – Celebrating Latino art and culture Sunday in City Plaza.
- Pepper Festival – Pepper-themed dishes and brews, music, and activities Sunday at Briar Chapel in Chapel Hill.
- The Fun Show with Cat and Nat – Sunday at Carolina Theatre of Durham.
- Bill Maher – At DPAC Sunday Night.
- Movie by Moonlight: Jurassic Park – Sunday at Dix Park. Food Trucks will also be on-hand.
