In a recent survey by Offers.com, they took a look at 1,000 people across the nation to get a look at the top trends for Valentine’s Day.

North Carolina’s Top Valentine’s Day Trends:

  • When it comes to the top treats of Valentine’s Day, North Carolina consumers love chocolate (35%), cookies (8%) and champagne (3%).
  • 45% of North Carolina shoppers won’t be spending any money at all this Valentine’s Day. 44% will be spending $1-50, and 5% plan to spend between $101-$150.
  • When it comes to where they are shopping, Walmart is the top retailer at 26%. Amazon (17)% and ProFlowers (5%) follow behind.
  • If North Carolina shoppers are wondering what to buy their sweetheart this year, chocolate (23%), flowers (11%) and jewelry (8%) are the top three gifts in your state.
