  • 38th Annual Raleigh Greek Festival – All weekend at NC State Fairgrounds A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
  • Porch Party for the Planet – Open bar, free food and entertainment Friday at The Outpost.

Saturday, September 7th

  • NC Kid Expo – For the young and the young at heart! All weekend long at NC State Fairgrounds!
  • Hopscotch Music Festival – More than 130 bands over three days in almost every genre imaginable all weekend in Downtown Raleigh
  • Climb for a Cure – Climb for a cure all weekend at Treerunner Raleigh Adventure Park. A percentage of sales will be donated to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
  • Durham’s Murals by Bike Tour – On Saturday, take a bicycle tour of the historic murals of downtown Durham starting at Piedmont Restaurant on Foster Street.
  • The Embers featuring Craig Woolard – Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy some free, live music with The Embers on Saturday at Parkside Town Commons.
  • Boxers, Brews & BBQ – Saturday at Carolina Brewing Company in Holly Springs.

Sunday, September 8th

  • Taste of Soul NC Seafood Edition – Sunday afternoon at Durham Central Park.
  • Downtown Cary Food & Flea – Sunday afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. at the Fidelity Bank Plaza in Cary.
