CANCELED…but there’s a bright spot!

The popular N.C. Chinese Lantern Festival in Cary has been called off due to COVID-19 and its crowd restrictions.

“The festival annually draws over 100,000 people to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Known for its larger than life illuminated displays, the Chinese Lantern Festival was set to kick off next month.”

While the traditional festival has been canceled for 2020, you can still enjoy some of their famous displays! Organizers of the event say that several of the lanterns will be on display in downtown Cary throughout the holidays.
