- Full Frame Film Festival – Full schedule of films and discussion all this weekend.
- The Color Purple – at Durham Performing Arts Center through Sunday.
SATURDAY
- Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Half Marathon and 5K – It’s the last one for Raleigh! The 5K is Saturday at Dix Park and the half-marathon is Sunday in Downtown. Be mindful of traffic all weekend. You may have to make some detours.
- NC Wine and Beer Festival – Sip local craft beverages, sample amazing chef inspired menus from foods sourced from area farms, and shop local vendors and artisans at The Farm in Selma.
- The Great Inflatable Race – Yes. An obstacle course … with inflatables … at Sugg Farm Park.
- You Are Here – Starts Saturday night at NC Museum of Art with a party and silent disco … then an all-nighter party from midnight until 10 Sunday Morning!
SUNDAY
- Spring Fling Adult Egg Hunt – Take 2! 10,000 eggs, inflatables, and lawn games at Dix Park!
- April Foods Day Food Truck Rodeo – with live music, craft breweries and 15 food trucks on Main Street in downtown Garner.
- Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo – in the Brooks Street Bowling parking lot on Sunday with a kid’s zone with face painting and bouncy house.
- Unleashed’s 5th Annual Spring Fling – Featuring the area’s largest Doggie Easter Egg Hunt! All at NC State Fairgrounds!
- Carrboro CD and Record Show – at the Carrboro Century Center.
