10th Annual Wiser A Cappella Jam

January 28, 2017 7:00 pm - January 28, 2017 8:00 pm

Contemporary a cappella music is sweeping the nation, and Durham Academy’s annual A Cappella Jam has led the charge here in the Triangle – now in its 10th year! Our fourth year in the Carolina Theatre promises more great music, hosted by Durham Academy’s award-winning, viral-video making XIV Hours, as well as 50+ member Acapocalypse. An ever-developing list of guest groups features high school and college groups from around the area. Check our Facebook event for the updated list of guest groups.

As always, the event is raising money for WISER, a non-profit organization founded at Duke University that helps with the education and health of young women in the Muhuru Bay area of Kenya.
