The Art of Recovery

The Art of Recovery

October 16, 2021 6:00 pm - October 16, 2021 9:00 pm

Join Healing Transitions as we kick off a brand-new art event in Raleigh on October 16th. We will celebrate our 20th year of service to the community together!

The Art of Recovery event features artwork from local artists who are in recovery or have been impacted by addiction. This powerful event will leave you with a new perspective on addiction and recovery. This year’s theme is “Opening the Door.” When someone courageously takes the first step toward recovery and asks for help, they are opening a door to a community of hope and healing. And at Healing Transitions, our doors are open as many times as it takes for someone to find recovery.

We will have an artist gallery with artwork for sale, live music and spoken word poetry, spirit-free cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres.

Cost: Pay what you can! (The event is free, but Healing Transitions is encouraging guests to pay what they can for tickets. The suggested ticket price is $10).

The deadline to submit artwork for consideration is Friday, September 17. Event sponsorships are also welcome!

Please contact Windi White, Healing Transitions’ Director of Development, to discuss opportunities or for any questions: [email protected], 919-838-9800, ext. 139.
