Ingredients

  • 1 (14oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, sautéed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Optional: chips or crackers

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. in a skillet, sauté spinach, and minced garlic in a skillet for 5 minutes or until cooked down.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed spinach, artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, and parmesan in a bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot, optionally with chips or crackers on the side.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter, melted 
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • 2 chocolate bars with almonds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and line the bottom with the chocolate bars.
  3. Combine sugar, flour, melted butter, eggs, cocoa powder, almond extract, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Mix well until a batter consistency is formed.
  5. Spread the brownie batter on top of the chocolate bars.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes and until the top of the brownies are dry and the edges are crisp and slightly pulled away from the edge of the pan.
  7. Let the almond chocolate brownies cool, serve, and enjoy!

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Turn your slow cooker on low.
  2. Heat the chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cream cheese and ranch dressing to the mixture.
  4. Cook the coated chicken for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Mix in 1/2 of the cheese, then transfer the mixture to a crock pot or slow cooker.
  6. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
  7. Cover and slow-cook on low until mixture starts bubbling, which will take about 30-35 minutes.
  8. Serve the buffalo chicken dip with chips, celery, or a dipper of your choice. Enjoy!

  • 2 (12-ounce) bottles of tomato-based chili sauce 
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 (6-pound) bag of frozen meatballs
  • 2 basil leaves

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the grape jelly, chili sauce, and cayenne pepper over medium-high heat. Stir well to mix.
  2. Cook the sauce mixture for about 5-10 minutes and heat through.
  3. Pour the frozen meatballs into a slow cooker.
  4. Pour the heated sauce mixture over the meatballs.
  5. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Garnish the cocktail meatballs with basil leaves and serve warm as a yummy appetizer or main dish.

Directions

  1. Preheat a skillet over low heat.
  2. Chop the tomato, basil, and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  4. Place 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, in the preheated skillet.
  5. Layer each slice of bread with tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle each sandwich with balsamic glaze and olive oil, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Top each sandwich with another slice of sourdough bread.
  8. Cook the caprese grilled cheese for about 3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place an unwrapped brie wheel on it.
  3. Bake in the oven until cheese is soft, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  4. Drizzle with honey and fig jam (optional: place figs on top).
  5. Garnish the baked brie with walnuts and rosemary.

This brie is best served with fresh fruit, toasted baguette slices, dried fruit, crackers, and nuts!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups ground cherries, husked and washed
  • 12 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Over low heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan and whisk in the brown sugar until combined.
  3. Carefully whisk in the rum and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes. The sugar may not completely dissolve, but that is okay.
  4. Remove from heat and pour this sugar mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch cake pan (do not grease).
  5. Arrange the husked cherries in a single layer over the sugar mixture. Set aside.
  6. Over low heat, melt the remaining 8 tablespoons of butter.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk the egg with the milk, and slowly add in the melted butter, whisking to combine.
  8. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl and set aside.
  9. Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined. Do not overmix.
  10. Pour the batter evenly over the cherries and smooth to the edges with a spatula.
  11. Bake the cake for 35 minutes at 400°F or until a toothpick comes out clean
  12. Let the cake rest for ten minutes.
  13. Once cooled, place a large plate over the cake pan and carefully invert the cake onto the plate.
  14. Let it cool for an additional 20 minutes before serving.
  15. Top the Ground Cherry Upside Down Cake with whipped cream (if desired) and enjoy!
