Get your last taste of summer!

Get your last taste of summer!

Although Dorothea Dix park did not bring the sunflowers this year, Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville, NC has their very own sunflower field and it’s staying up until August 23rd!

With over 50,000 estimated blooms, each guest will even be able to clip their own flowers! “If you’d like to pick sunflowers, you’ll need to bring your own clippers, bags, and containers. The minimum price is $5 for a half dozen, $10 for a dozen and $5 for additional sunflowers purchased in increments of six.”

Open 6:30 a.m. to noon and 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and admission per each car is $20. Enjoy this last taste of summer!
