Local Color Gallery Anniversary – Help this gallery celebrate its 15 year anniversary with a new exhibit highlighting the works of 11 female artists.

Dreaming of the 90s Dance Party – At The Pinhook in Durham.

SATURDAY
African American Cultural Festival – This free two-day festival starts Saturday in downtown Raleigh. with art, music, food, artists, and performers.

Wheels 4 Heroes Charity Crawl – Meet at Cornerstone Tavern … free pizza, a silent auction, samples and giveaways … kicks off at 6. This event benefits wounded veterans.

Ed Sheeran – Sold Out Show at PNC Arena with James Blunt.

Labor Day Weekend Party – Aloft hotel in downtown Raleigh will host a 21-and-up dance party on its patio Saturday with DJ Grant. Advance tickets are $10. Space is limited.

SUNDAY
All White Day Party – Wear all white before you put it away for the winter at Noir on Glenwood Avenue on Sunday starting at 4 p.m.

Durham Food Truck Rodeo – Dozens of local food trucks and live music at Durham Central Park from noon to 4 p.m.
