- Bearthday – at Raleigh City with a free, family-friendly morning bazaar
- Wanderlust 108: The Mindful Triathlon – five-kilometer run (or walk), a music-fueled, outdoor yoga class and a guided meditation led by the world’s top teachers .. all at Dorothea Dix Park on Saturday.
- Glenwood South Wing Fling – At The Raleigh Beer Garden. Tickets are $15 and include a passport card that gets you two wings at each venue
- DIY Fest – At The Scrap Exchange in Durham Saturday.
- French Market and Seafood Festival – at Lafayette Village Saturday.
- Table’s Food Truck Rodeo – At Orange United Methodist Church. Proceeds support TABLE, which provides healthy, emergency food aid to hungry children in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
- ‘Cuegrass Festival – Barbecue, beer and bluegrass return to The Pit in Downtown Raleigh.
SUNDAY
- Rodeo on Rosemary – Downtown Chapel Hill on Sunday with giant games, a mini golf course and DJ.
- Beer for Beagles – at Lonerider Brewing on Sunday to raise money for Triangle Beagle Rescue.
- Cary’s Downtown Chowdown – Sunday afternoon along Academy Street.
