Ingredients

- 1 tbsp oil (vegetable, sesame, or olive)
- 1 protein of choice (about 1 cup):
chicken, shrimp, beef, tofu, or chickpeas - 2 cups mixed veggies (fresh or frozen):
bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, carrots, onions - 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (or ½ tsp ground ginger)
- Simple Stir-Fry Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. Preheat and prepHeat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Cook the proteinAdd protein of choice and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the veggiesAdd veggies to the pan and cook 3–5 minutes until tender.
4. Add aromaticsStir in garlic and ginger; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
