Hello there! I’m Lexanne, and I’m absolutely feline fine with a relaxed lifestyle. I’m the ultimate couch potato who believes that napping is an art form, and I’ve perfected it over many years. I love spending my days in a state of zen, lounging on my favorite cat trees and watching the world go by through windows where I can scope out all the birds and critters outside. I’m a calm, sweet girl who enjoys the finer things in life like a good head scratch on my own terms, and I promise I’m not the type to demand attention 24/7. Once you’ve earned my trust within about an hour, I’m happy to solicit affection from you because I’m just that purr-suasive!
I do best when life moves at a slow pace, so I’d love a home where my humans understand that good things come to those who wait for my cuddles. I came to the shelter after a rough start, and I’ll admit, I’m not the fastest to warm up to new people. I’m a bit shy and reserved at first, and I need some patience as I figure out that you’re one of the good ones. But here’s the thing – once I trust you, I can be clingy and affectionate, and I love nothing more than snuggling up close to someone I care about. I know sit, come, stay, and leave it, and I’ve been known to be house-trained and crate-trained, so I’ve got some good manners under my belt!
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side once she feels safe, I might be your girl! I do best with a calm, patient person who understands that I need some time and space to decompress, but I promise it’ll be worth it when I finally melt into your arms for cuddles.
