Citrus Apple Cider Recipe

Serving Size: 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 cups apple juice
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cloves, and ground nutmeg to make a spice mixture.
  2. In a large pot, combine the apple juice, sliced apple, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and the prepared spice mixture.
  3. Simmer the mixture on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and strain.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
