Penn Station East Coast Subs Athlete of the Season: Connor Loeffler

Listen as Morgan speaks with another one of our finalists for the 96.1 BBB and Penn Station East Coast Subs Athlete of the Year –  Connor Loeffler!

He is in the running for a $1,000 scholarship courtesy of Penn Station East Coast Subs.

Meet Connor:

Connor is a Senior at Wake Forest High School. He plays Football and Baseball!

Connor is also very active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

What is your Claim to Fame?

Our team is the two time State Champion in football. I’ve also received the Robber Award (Football Award) and have been named an Outstanding Cougar Senior.

Why Do You Love to Play Your Sport?

My sports mean the world to me. I have met a lot of my friends through sports and have made lifetime friendships.

What Made You Decide to Play the Sport for Which You Were Named Penn Station Athlete of the Season?

I decided to play football because I have watched and played this sport all of my life, and wish to continue to play for many more years.

How has Participating in High School Athletics Benefited You?

Participating in high school sports has taught me character, teamwork, time management, and most importantly – leadership.
