Hi there! I’m Crayola, a sweet little lady looking for my forever home. I might seem a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I’m totally ready to soak up all the attention and cuddles you’re willing to give!
I’m the kind of gal who loves to be the center of your world, and I promise I’ll reward you with endless purrs and snuggles.
How did I get here? Transferred from City of Rocky Mount Animal Control with my kittens.
**I have tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia) – please speak with an adoption specialist for more information.
I am currently living in a foster home – please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**
~My adoption fee is waived.~
Hello there! My name is Haku, and I’m a brave little guy with a big heart ready for a new adventure. I know I came to the shelter feeling pretty scared and overwhelmed, but I’m learning that courage isn’t about not being afraid—it’s about taking that leap anyway! When I’m in the comfort of loving arms and away from the stress of my kennel, I transform into the sweetest companion you could ask for.
I handled my medical exams like a true trooper and showed everyone at the shelter that beneath my nervous exterior is a pup who genuinely wants to connect with people. I did wonderfully during my dog test too, which proves I’ve got the heart of a hero just waiting to shine!
What I’m really looking for now is a patient person or family who understands that I need a little time to warm up to new situations, but once I do, I’m all in. I thrive when I’m being held close and receiving gentle affection from someone who believes in me. I may need my own safe space in my new home—a cozy corner where I can retreat when things feel overwhelming—but with your encouragement and kindness, I know I’ll keep finding my brave self more and more each day.
Are you ready to help me write the next chapter of my story?
I am full grown at ~11lbs.
How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center where I came in as a stray.
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~
