Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup finely chopped pepperoni
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- Extra flour for rolling
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly flour your work surface and roll the pizza dough into a thin rectangle. Cut the dough into small squares, about 3–4 inches wide.
2. Add the Filling Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square. Add a pinch of mozzarella, chopped pepperoni, and Parmesan, being careful not to overfill.
3. Form the Triangles Brush the edges of each dough square lightly with beaten egg. Fold one corner diagonally over to the opposite corner to create a triangle, then press the edges firmly together to seal.
4. Seal the Edges Use the tines of a fork to crimp all three edges of each pizza roll. Make sure the edges are tightly sealed so the cheese and sauce don’t escape while baking.
5. Season the Pizza Rolls Arrange the triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
6. Bake Until Golden
